    Were the commentators hallucinating?

Many a time i heard "BIG SHOT BY JOHNSON" when he actually missed with a jab or clipped Carls shoulder.

Glen did land some nice juicy shots, but i think the sky team were tripping

Yes i agree. All that talk about Froch being troubled and by round seven or something they tought Johnson was ahead on the cards. Johnson fought good in all rounds except the last two but Froch managed to edge out most of the close rounds and were never really in trouble. Froch got hit by some good shots but they didn't have much effect, not like he was stun or hurt anywhere in the fight. Great fight from both men but Froch just had more in the tank.

The crowd had a role to play too.

I think Johnson did catch Froch with some huge shots, but what the commentators missed was Froch immediately firing back (something Johnson mentioned in his interview). Also Froch was never genuinely hurt.

Froch's defence (or lack thereof) can make the commentators uneasy.

No, It's just Jim Watt is a certified idiot.

Presuming you watched it on Sky Sports, yes?

If so, It's simply because Jim Watt is a senile moron.

Did Watt say "**** on the chin!" tonight at any point?

British commentators do this with every big fight involving British fighters. I think it's because they're so desperate for their fighter to win that they become nervous wrecks throughout the fight which makes them overreact everytime the British fighter is hit with a shot. And it's not just Jim Watt..

              This could definitely be true.

They get immensely frantic, take Jim Watt's overload in Round 1 of Pacquaio Vs Hatton for example ; 'HATTON IS USING THE SAME TACTICS AS HE DID.....MAYWEATHER.....I DON'T BELIEVE THIS!....NEEDS...PUT HIS GUARD UP!!!....MOVE HIS HEAD!!!'

              All over place.

It's not just Jim but by God is he the worst of the bunch.

Jim is the worst but John Rawling's pretty bad too.

I'll never forget Calzaghe vs Lacy when Rawling was still ****ting bricks in the 11th round despite the fact that Lacy had only landed a combined total of 2 and half punches throughout the entire fight
