Floyd DUCKED Winky Wright

How did Mayweather duck Wright?
Winky turned down the split and priced himself out. Something he is notorious for doing.
Winky turned this fight down, not Mayweather.Comment

Wow,an epic fail of monstrous proportion right there.U said Floyd was at 140,Wright was at 154.Martinez is willing to meet Pacman at 154.Pacman was already a jr middleweight champion.Fail & more fail lame sorry fail. But it's ok for Pacman to fight Marquez at welterweight but not Floyd.Failure.Comment

dude, Winky wanted a 50/50 split to fight little Floyd who was more popular then him after Gatti. Its written right there plain as day. I use to tell people about that all the time when they talked about this fight but they hated Floyd so much that they would say he ducked him. Thats a joke.
Why would Floyd fight Winky for 50/50 at that point? This was after Winky had just killed Tito at 160 and Floyd was at that point a small 140 pounder. He was smaller then than Pac is now. Thats another reason why he left Arum. Giving him those sucky deals and no PPV fightsLast edited by DLT; 06-04-2011, 02:33 PM.Comment

Just a little social experiment my dude. Once again pointing out people's bull****.
Manny is ducking Sergio Martinez, the lineal MW champion. Floyd ducked Winky Wright, the MW champion... and wanted to impose a same day weigh-in, and put an 8 lb cap on rehydration.
Just want to see how many people who agree with the first statement agree with the second.
For the record, I don't (as most reasonable people) consider a 140-lber not fighting a 160-lber to be 'ducking', even with all those weight restrictions. The only time we've seen something similar happen recently was when Oscar came down from 150 to 147 and cherry-picked a guy who had been fighting at 130 just 9 months earlier.
Which is an utterly different situation between Pac and Martinez. Oh wait, What situation?
The two are utterly uncomparable.Comment
