Do you consider Pacquiao fans to be legitimate boxing fans?

I didn't say Villa beat Mclarnin, I said he fought him, heck he fought him with badly swollen gums and had to fight with one hand throughout the fight covering his mouth, and as expected, he lost the decision. Now that's a warrior.
With Wilde at the end of his career? Well, unlike now that we have the advent of IT and the internet where you'd find every info about a boxer who's shot to **** or still bringing it ala Bhop, back in the day you wouldn't know if Wilde was fading at that time, unless of course, you lived to watch him fight and train. I'll go on saying that it's not a proven fact so for me its a misconception and one of the excuses.
No one gave Pancho a chance when he met Wilde and when Villa took Wilde to school Pancho silenced the doubters and will always remain asia's GOAT!Comment

you seem pretty well enshrined in your pedestal; considering yourself a great, legitimate? and true boxing fan? your post is oozing with hatred or disdain...you hope pac gets out of the boxing world so his fans also get off this threading? or just so your favorite fighter can come out to shine in pac's absence?Comment

And, I don't know about Villa being the GOAT.
I think he was the first great Filipino and also first great Asian boxer. But, IMO Pac is the GOAT. I also think that Elorde>Villa.
Which is not an insult. Philippines has an underrated boxing history.
You have the Penalosa brothers(Gerry and Doodie Boy). And, 90's favorites Luisito Espinosa. Cerefino Garcia who was the MW champ, IMO should be in the HOF.
It's not on the level of U.S, Mexico, Puerto Rico. But, it's a very solid tradition and history.Comment

Ceferino Garcia was the only filipino AFAIK to campaign in MW, and actually was the one credited for creating the bolo punch, which later popularized by Kid Gavilan.
Elorde had prolly the best type of granite in his chin, but Pancho was equally as tough, never been knocked down. It's just really unfortunate he died at the peak and on the verge of blowin' up.
That's the thing about these fighter's the "what couldv'e beens" (Salvador Sanchez comes to mind), you can just imagine from thereon.Comment

*******s make me want to see Manny lose just like the weird Klitschko fan(s) on this site who act all impish and childish.
I love Vitali & Manny for the warriors they are, but their keyboard warrior fans on here are so pig headed and short sighted that seeing them swallow humility in bundles is always enjoyable.Comment

how do you know? had you seen Pancho Villa fight?...Comment

this is such a ****** question to ask...
how fans act is individual. i love Pacquiao, he is my favorite fighter but i am not a *******. i dont support everything he does, first and foremost i am a boxing fan.
and to call a group of fans "******" because they have a favorite fighter who has earned to have a fan base is just idiotic to me.Comment
