If pacquiao is so serious about giving his fans a good fight why not come in at for example the same weight he came in against hatton just to give boxing fans a good gutsy fight. We know that at welter weight marquez won't be the same fighter we've witnessed in the previous two fights against manny so saying that
Is manny really ready to sacrifice things for his fans? And please don't use as an excuse that it was a "long" time ago pac came in at that weight and that he won't be able to do it again.

you can tell this guy is new, cause he is simply saying "Manny once made the weight so he can make it again"........ Waaaaay to simple my friend, ****e it up and talk about how crappy all Manny's wins were when he made other fighters cut weight and that turnabout is fair play and Manny is OBLIGATED to have to cut weight for this fight.
You have to be extremeand over the top to make it here.

Wowsers!!So Manny is officially a welterweight now huh??So all the ******* talk about how tiny he is doesn't matter atm.He can't go down to 140 or 138 now right??I remember when Floyd was a tiny welterweight. At least that was the ***** excuse. The ***** & the ******* are identical twins. It's simply amazing how similar they really are.Now Manny can't make 140 or less, how convenient!!

It's NOT about making 140.
If that is where Manny wants to hang then great but why go down to 140 when Manny's next potential match may be against Floyd WHO IS ALREADY NATURALLY BIGGER?
It would be dumb because Manny already struggles to keep close to the other WW who can make 147 and actually balloon to much higher than that fight night.
The fortunate thing about Manny is that even though he is relatively a naturally small WW (you can't deny that, can you?) he can still compete in that division.
There are some who couldn't do what Manny could(relatively smaller but compete at WW) at some point in their career. Example: Gatti late in his career struggled to make 140 but was ineffective at 147. Gatti probably wished there was a 143-144 division at that point in his career. There wasn't so he retired!Last edited by ADP02; 06-04-2011, 12:12 PM.
