Absolutely, and interesting to hear Jnr mention that he wants Martinez next.
Personally, If I was him, I would wait
But hey, if he wants Sergio, then so be it.
What I was meaning is that if he wins, Chavez will have no less credibility than Zbik, which admittedly, was not a lot. I still think that Jnr will land himself a top 10 spot with this win.
Is Zbik his first genuine top 10 opponent ?Comment

Yeah. Duddy waas fringe prior to his first loss but Lyell exposed him and he wasn't on Chavez night. As to what Chavez said, I expect HE would fight him, manly pride and all. Martinez would be chomping at the bit for a huge payday. I'd bet my house Chavez's team don't want anything to do with that and I'd be floored if we see that fight anytime in the next two years...if Jr. wins tonight.
Chavez Jr vs. Cotto
Chavez Jr vs. Williams
I could see those scraps.Comment

Martinez stated that he has less than two years left in the game, personally, I think that Team Chavez should wait him out. There is a much more level playing field below Martinez.Comment

The difference is, some people actually remember who Butterbean was. Nobody is going to be talking about Jr. a couple of years from now. Not unless its in the same context as"He got Hattoned." If Jr. actually steps up and fights Sergio or Williams, we may get "Man oh man, did that guy ever get Chavezed!"Comment
