Ortiz was BADLY hurt in the sixth. He would've probably been knocked out, that's why he quit.

Ortizs only chance was to hurt him back. One thing Ortiz doesn't do well is back peddle around the ring to escape someone. When berto hurt him in the sixth he stopped it by attacking back.

It definitely hurt Ortiz that he wasn't willing to see if he could hurt Maidana. He just didn't want to get hurt or knocked out. But he mostly redeemed himself. We'll have to see.

Alexander on the other hand wasn't hurt, and sure as he'll wasn't going to be knocked out. Alexander had no excuse to quit. I think he just wanted to blame the loss on Bradleys excessive head butting.

No, Ortiz does not have my forgiveness. What he did was reprehensible. Not calling me back after I gave him the greatest sex he's ever had in his life? Unforgivable.

No, the day he did that was horrible and he made it the all more worse with his post fight interview. What a horrible horrible night that was, I was almost in disbelief. That's all in the past though, lets see what he does from here on out.

What I do admire is that he's been pushing to get Maidana back in the ring, that I like.

I'm just afraid gb is going to protect him, with only the occasional good one.

He's young...he realised his mistake and wanted to prove a point against Berto even after the knockdowns, the 6th is a great example of this. I think he realises what he needs to do to gain respect after the Maidana fight and truly believe he will rematch Maidana at some point.

I believe he will redeem himself against Maidana for definite.

"Maidana doesn't have anything on me. I honestly believe Morales beat Maidana and Morales is past his prime. People say I gave up in that fight. I didn't give up. They stopped it on my behalf." ~ Ortiz

A little. Let him get cut again and see what happens. See if he continues to hold then I will know for sure.

If you watch the fight, Ortiz is on his back foot then entire time as soon as he gets cut.

I forgave him right after he did it. Its not the quitting I don't like, it the not being as good as he could be I don't like
