Prime Cotto vs....

I got Cotto either decision or tko. In order to beat Cotto you have to pressure the **** out of him, have an iron chin or Crazy defense, and throw an insane amount of punches to break him down. Even if Vargas wins it won't be easy. Cotto's jab, bodyshots, and timing is no joke.

To me Cotto is still a very dangerous fighter but when he's in the ring with guys like Mayorga, Foreman, Jennings etc.. it Hurts him more than it helps. Hopefully that fight with Chavez never happens and he gets his rematch with Margarito now thats a fight that will always give Cotto problems.

To me cotto's best weight is 140. Vargas just has too many physical advantages.

Cotto was a real slick dude in his prime but I don't think his d would hold up for an entire fight with el feroz.

Past fighters get overrated. Threads like these are pointless.

If Vargas boxes and uses his size then he wins by TKO. Its not a knock on Cotto (who's one of my favs) but simply a match he loses on size and Power. Vargas hits harder than Margs and can take a good one too. I dont even really care for Vargas but he punishes Cotto late.
