Even Marquez would have KTFO the old shot weight-drained shrink-wrapped 145lb version of Hoya that Manny fought. Even Ricky Hatton would probably have knocked out that Hoya, as would some of the top JWW's and ALL of the top welters.

Margarito was never a threat, and the version that Pac fought was done.

He had been KTFO by old man Mosley, inactive for 18 months, looked like **** against Garcia, had no KO power in either of those fights, and could not have beaten any of the top welters.

Yep, a fkn lightweight, the same lightweight that Mayweather got bashed for fighting.

Both Berto and Ortiz beat that version of Margarito, and I would like to see Manny fight Cotto at a better weight, we dont actually know if Pac could have beaten a prime Cotto, or even that faded version at 147. I can say that because the fight was held at catchweight.

Yep, I wonder if Manny could beat Cotto if he was prime, at a healthy weight, and with a good corner..... even 9lbs north at 154 could give a better indication, although Cotto certainly aint the beast he was before cheato.

You are dreaming if you think that either of those guys look amateur compared to Margarito. They both make him look like a plodding punchbag.

    Name these " Ring champs " ?

    In fact..... name one.

What is ridiculous about an ex JMW champ fighting at 154 ?

Marquez is a true P4P fighter so he is jumping two divisions to welter, and yet Pac cant even fight a genuine JMW despite having held a title at 154?

Whats up with that man ?

    Oscar is in rehab

Bernstein, Atlas, and Sugar ALL think that Marquez won both fights, and Marley is just a hack fanboy, NOT an analyst.
No wonder why you have that full red rep power or 0 value to be exact in your credit, you have such twisted imagination...Reflects how you think and doesn't understand fully what you're talking about...Stop hallucinating, shame on you...

Teddy Atlas must have like a 30 year or so contract with ESPN(If so, they must be kicking themselves in the ass for that) or some one high up in there owes Atlas a BIG favor!! Cause Atlas is a MORON!! He thinks & swears he's boxing's guru that knows it all, but 90% of the time he's just full of S H I T!! Every time Atlas picks a fighter to win & that fighter looses(which is most of the time) he doesn't give the winning fighter his props & tries to find flaws(that most of the time don't exist) & reason's to criticize the winning fighter..Example; 2 weeks ago Atlas picked Pascal to beat Hopkins, yet Hopkins won a clear cut UD over a young & strong legitimate world champion & at the same time made history by becoming the oldest fighter to win a world title..Then this past week on espn2 "Friday Night Fights" instead of Atlas giving Hopkins his due credit, Atlas went on to try to minimize Hopkins victory as much as possible & at the same time contradicting himself by trying to insinuate that Pascal was tailor made for Hopkins to beat..

al bernstein is well respected & fairly unbiased.

truth is, pac has NO OPTIONS... he might as well retire.

people can rattle off and drop names of overhyped undefeated prospects/contenders... but truth is pac wont enhance his legacy by "picking" on prospects. floyd/pac have established themselves apart from everyone else that we gripe about their opponents, when CLEARLY, there is NONE. floyds only CREDIBLE option is sergio... and pac's only ACCEPTABLE option is to clean out 140 (and that STILL wont necessarily enhance his legacy...). i see a better future with floyd, simply because he is better preserved & has potential to move up. pac is getting faded & maxed out @ 148... pac cant handle a serious JMW.

Or are they **** because they do not agree with you ?

This show me one more time that you're the biggest b!tch on earth !!
Excuses, that's the only thing we can expect from a guy like you.

3 knockdowns, and you had it 10-7 ?? definitely, more ****** every day.

But let me ask you a question....
How dis you scored Mayweather vs Castillo I ??
          119-109 ??
          120-108 ??

          Your *****dia is incurable...

To those people who are not well informed about this...Teddy Atlas first saw Manny Pacquiao when Manny was looking for a when he first got here in the USA. Teddy Atlas likes to train Manny Pacquiao but Manny chose Freddie Roach to be his trainer. Manny Pacquiao became very successful under Freddie Roach training and guidance. In every "WIN" that Pacman makes gives a big boost to Freddie's Wild Card Gym making and thus giving big credit to Freddie Roach. Today in this boxing world everybody knows Freddie Roach and Manny Pacquiao. Presently those two names are household names in this world. Everytime Manny Pacquiao's name is mentioned, Freddie Roach and Alex Ariza names are also there. Teddy Atlas knows that if Manny Pacquiao chose him to be his trainer...his name will be always next to Manny Pacquiao and not Freddie Roach.

we need analysts like teddy atlas to keep the balance in order in the boxing world. wouldn't it be boring if everyone of them had the same opinion? don't lie: whether you like him or not, if you turned your TV to friday night fights and didn't get to see teddy, wouldn't you be less interested. for instance, i HATE larry merchant but i have to admit, whenever he's not there, i feel let down. and thats not saying kellerman is bad but i feel incomplete when larry's not there. and i HATE him!!

Arum doesn't "pocket" anything. Can't you ****** geeks get it into your skulls that Top Rank is a HUGE, world-wide company, with hundreds of employees, and the money made on these fights is barely a flea bite compared to their yearly gross turnover.

Arum doesn't do it solely for money anymore, and probably doesn't know personally what is being either made or lost. Except for what the accounting department tell him.

I don't really know, and neither you YOU, but what I've said is the normal aspect of such a company.
