Bernstein has talked some ****s in the past, but I have to agree with you he has way more credibility than Teddy Atlas.

All successful boxers have haters, including Pacquaio and floyd. Even SRL, Ali, SRR, JChavez, RockyM, and all other great boxers have their own haters. That is understandable if all the hate are coming from new fans. Hate coming from people like Atlas and other boxing practitioners is beyond my comprehension.

I guess as long as jealousy, racism and prejudice exist, there will be hate.

criticism...................and obvious hate are quite different............for someone who is wrong most of the time..................Atlas speaks a lot of thrash................he should know his place............

Pacman fought and beat all the champions near his weight found in Ring Magazine's top pound-for-pound list, as well as other threats like Margarito and Oscar. Pacman has 4 Ring lineal titles to show for it. Now he is fighting another top lb-for-lb fighter.

Anyway, Cotto or Margarito will beat up the young guns like Berto or Ortiz, IMHO. Just watching Berto and Ortiz fight was exciting, but looks like amateur night in comparison.

If Pacman didn't fight those Ring champs, he will be criticized for it anyway. Damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. The price of fame ...

Now Atlas wants to Pacman to fight Martinez. Ridiculous. Might as well ask Martinez to fight Hopkins, and Bute to fight Klitschko. There is no logic in Atlas' thinking, and some of the gullible buy it. And Atlas is called a boxing analyst ? Heaven forbid ...

He did reject Pacman when Pacman first appeared at his door for training many moons ago. This Atlas needs a psychiatrist, at least Oscar woke up.

Al Bernstein is far way credible than the fraud Teddy Atlas. Glad he speaks up and contradict the fraud Atlas. Bernstein is with Showtime and Atlas is a freelance boxing commentator for FNF.
