Gary Shaw wants the money but he doesn't want to have to work for it. Bradley said they (Shaw) are trying to do anything and everything to keep him with them, but Shaw hasn't done **** to actually PROMOTE him... Then you got people saying "Well he could have taken just this ONE fight and moved on"... what part of HE DOESN'T WANT TO FIGHT FOR GARY SHAW don't they understand? Shaw isn't going to just let Bradley walk - Tim wanted out before the Alexander fight and what happened? Shaw made him sign an extension. I've heard people say that Bradley wouldn't have to sign an extension, how exactly do they know that? Did Shaw tell them that??? LOL. Funny thing is, when it's Amir Khan making business decisions then they call it 'smart', but when it's anybody else then they're a 'duck'. And why is it that the majority of the Bradley haters that are pissed hes not fighting Khan in JULY (still don't understand why it HAS to be JULY or bust?) say they think hes boring and a ****ty fighter anyway. Why do they care then if Amir fights him or not??

It can't be more obvious that Bradley and Shaw are having problems (i.e. Shaw talking **** to the media about his fighter who is still under contract) and that contract expires June 30. They were having problems before the Alexander fight and everyone knows that. Look where that got him? Khan is fighting in July - Why would Bradley make one red cent for a promoter who not only doesn't keep his promises, but does a ****ty job of promoting him and talks smack about him? If Bradleys contract ends June 30 and the Khan fight is July 23rd, is that NOT an extension?? I don't know, it seems pretty clear to me.

THIS FIGHT IS GOING TO HAPPEN PEOPLE..... just not RIGHT NOW.

Side note: If Bradley is such a terrible fighter that no one wants to watch, then why do the two power house promoters TR and GBP both want him???
Stop that Lori, you making to much damn sense..You know that's not aloud on this site..

Thats why that date was agreed, Shaw thought he could extend but Tim did the smart move. The thing is Timmy made that move but said dumb stuff like this in the process.

If you're a CHAMP, you NEVER, EVER say "what if i lose?" as an excuse. Thats just dumb. Gotta ALWAYS say you gonna whip the contender's ass. Maybe thats part of why Timmy isn't a big name too.
I can agree with that. No fighter should ever say that out loud, but you know they're ALL thinking it. Atleast somewhere deep down inside, I'm sure they all do. Even Floyd Mayweather has asked himself that question IMHO. It's human nature. But yeah, shouldn't have said it out loud Timmy...

A sad state of affairs in the boxing world if Mayweather and/or Pacquiao are seen as the prize of a "sweepstakes". The champion has to be available towards being challenged and competition, this is a sport of pugilism - not a beauty contest.

You said Bradley is not scared recently but can say that for Khan last year?

With every interview he does Bradley looks worse and worse. A simple 'no comment' or 'there are things going on behind the scenes that I can't discuss' would be so much better than 'well, I'm scared to lose so I'll pass' and 'I'm a bigger draw in the states' and 'I want to build the Bradley brand'.

His manager needs to put a gag order on him, he's looking REALLY bad right now. Don't know how you can spin this to be anything other than a blatant duck... after HE called out Khan

Come on now, why should he have to earn his big fight? Isn't he entitled since he's unified the JWW divi...oh that's right he hasn't earned **** yet, my fault -_-

Seriousy, as of now Khan brings more money to a Pac or Mayweather fight than Timmy, even if Khan and Pac say they won't fight. He's holding out to fight one of two guys in a division that he hasn't even moved up to yet! I mean come on, if you're going to do all of this just to get that fight at least begin your move up to WW.

If the fight is close it’s hardly classed as a robbery as close fights can be scored either way, Bradley did actually mention the judges in the interview saying he doesn’t know who the judges would be or some other half arsed excuse.

Saying ‘What if I lose to Khan’ is not business its doubt, and doubting yourself is one thing an elite boxer should never do, especially to the public.

I’m not going to concern myself with the Gary Shaw talk because, Shaw tells a very different story to Bradley and it comes down to who people THINK is telling the truth.

It's seriously ******ed to say Khan - Bradley WILL happen.

HBO is going to pay LESS money for this fight next time. AND Khan is going to move to WW. There are MANY reasons why this fight very likely will not happen in the future.

So Bradley very likely blew his shot at the fight. And when you consider all the trash he was talking, that he claimed Khan was ducking him, its no wonder people think Bradley is a foolish idiot.

At the end of the day it's not business any more than ANY decision from a fighter is business. ITS FEAR. Bradley said it himself. 'What if I lose?' That is the DEFINITION OF FEAR.

Wow Bradley should have never did this interview.

                    What if I lose?

                    Can I get a break?

Now he wants to fight no names and stay undefeated.
Now he wants to be like Roy Jones and fight bumbs for millions of dollars.........

                    Lost respect bro.

If Timothy Bradley is not confident in himself that he is the best. Then, Amir Khan should now be considered the best at 140 poundd.
