Ortiz look stronger at 147. I just don't think that Bradley has enough pop to keep Ortiz off him. Unless he lunge with his head, he will not discourage Ortiz.

Ortiz would trouble cotto that same way Marg and Pac did, by whole lot of pressuring and power punches. Ortiz would hit with too Manny power shot that Cotto can't do anything about since he never learned to clinch. Cotto would take so much punishment in this fight and would probably ends up taking a knee for a TKO loss
1.Marga's beat Cotto with pressure(and most likely bricks)..
2.Pac beat Cotto with speed and with angles..
3.Ortiz really does not have either..

Ortiz bull rushes which is why he walks right into punches for the most part..Cotto is a beast dude and he can box, which is why he is still around..He beats Ortiz dude..I hope this fight get's made tbh...

A lot of people thought Peterson would not have enough pop,but guess what??He did,Bradley has pop dude esp when ya getting hit square on the chin..Bradley would win this by taking away Ortiz's main weapon, his power..Ortiz can't really box dude and if Bradley can take it there Ortiz will lose..

Malignaggi, Torres, Sosa are superior fighters IMO. If he couldn't last 6 rounds with Maidana, I don't see him lasting that long against Mayorga.

So maybe he squeezes into the bottom of Cotto's top 10, but that doesn't change the fact that Ortiz brings nothing new to Cotto's table. It would be a routine fight for him.
Just because he brings "nothing new to table" does not make it an automatic win for Cotto, on the contrary it just shows the vulnerabilities he shows when facing certain styles and similar fighters as Ortiz.

Ortiz while not as great as Pacquiao, is similarly an aggressive southpaw with power in both hands and decent speed to boot and what happened to Cotto in the pac fight? Judah is also a southpaw with decent power and had some success early on and if he wasn't a 4 round fighter I would've given him a good chance to beat Cotto. Ortiz does not have a similar fighting style as Margarito except for the fact that they both like to bully their opponents and throw non-stop combinations with intent. What happened in the Cotto/Marg fight?

So you throw in the southpaw stance and power of Ortiz, his relentlessness, his size and his new-found confidence and cojones and it spells disaster to a war-torn, vulnerable, weak-chinned fighter like Cotto.

Boxing is all about styles and the style of Ortiz is all wrong for Cotto even if he's already seen it because the times he did face that style he was defeated.

So Ortiz is some Machine on the same level as Margarito with the pressure and power and Pacquiao's speed and power??..LMAO!..

Boxing fans can be sooo ridiculous sometimes, first this is the guy that 90% of this website called a B!tch for quitting, and the same guy that drew a fight with weak ass Lamont Peterson whom he knocked down TWICE by the way, and beat an unproven, weak chinned, paper champ in Berto, but he can somehow T/KO Cotto, who's only been stopped by fighters of an elite caliber like Margarito and Pacquiao?..GTFO!!!

I can see Collazo whooping Ortiz' ass, so stop overrating this kid. he's got a hell of a long way to go to prove he can beat someone like Miguel Cotto at ANY weight class

When he beats, Mosley, Judah, Clottey, and Margarito even now! when Cotto did beat 3 out of the 4 years ago, then I'd consider him a threat..but I can honestly see him going 2 for 2 against those 4 beating Judah and Clottey...Margarito and Mosley get in that ass!..

with that said Miguel Cotto by 10 rounds or less!

Cotto always had problems with pressure fighters and Cotto always was suspect to big shots since he never ever clinches which is exactly the reason why he would lose to Ortiz.

BTW Ortiz has the speed and power advantage over Cotto plus Ortiz is more accurate then both Marg and Pac and throws excellent combination's.

Co-sign! Another thing I noticed in the Berto fight is he was throwing some vicious uppercuts and we all know how Cotto loves to eat uppercuts
