Because him beating the best fighter in the world can wake idiots like you up. Well he didn't beat Pac and got demolished, but so did Cotto. Moron, use your brain. That so hard to do?

And yeah I like it when BP pisses u guys off, its ****ing hilarious. U guys have your own version of BP, I forgot what name he is using now cuz he gets banned or changes it like everyweek. But u aint trying to hear crap from anyone cuz of what another poster says, neither am I.
He did the time and paid for the crime. Maybe you need to teach Cotto how to have a better defense on how not to get hit too the body and move out the ropes.
Oh wait!! He has a new trainer who will magically turn in him into a true V 4.0 or whatever in Steward. The same trainer who has checked Margarito's wraps BEFORE a fight with Cotto and saw NOTHING WRONG.

Doesn't change the fact that Lopez almost got ko and Ortiz lost 6-7 out of 10 rounds though. Difference is that everyone dissed Juanma even after he sent Luevano flying to the ring post while your brothers think Ortiz is now unbeatable cuz he knocked off Berto.
Ortiz beat Berto who was hyped into something he wasn't, just like Lopez. Ortiz is a knockout highlight waiting to happen when he faces someone really good.

why? nobody expected berto to beat cotto, so why does ortiz beating berto put him over cotto that easily?

ortiz had a great fight and gets props for it. lets see what else he does before saying that he beats a dude who is pretty darn above the guy who made ortiz quit

Not completely sold on Ortiz after the Peterson and Maidana fights, but he is a danger to whomever he fights. Cotto at 154 might be too big for him but it would be interesting.

In 2006 he would have destroyed him. I'm not sure how much Cotto has left. He hasn't had a challenge since Pac. Victor can hurt him in the exchanges. Then again Cotto definitely can too.

I love the fight. I wanna see it. Guaranteed fireworks.

Only one way to tell - LETS GET IT ON!!!

Great great action fight, would be FOTY imo if it happened

Im gonna pick Cotto based on experiance and technique over Ortiz's speed and youth

I think this is an amazing fight. I reckon if Cotto can comfortably make 147, he stops Ortiz....I think people forget how much of a beast he was at Welterweight. He stopped two pretty decent light-middleweights, and at Welterweight he was pretty brutal! I think he's a better boxer than Ortiz, more skilled and then a bigger body puncher.

Berto is faster, stronger and more explosive than Cotto. Chins are about the same, so I say Victor by beatdown, possibly a stoppage. If Berto couldn't keep Victor down, Cotto won't be able to do it. Vic hurts Miguel in this one.
