short term loss for long term gain.

Sky gives Khan a lot more exposure than primetime could ever dream of doing. And also dont forget Khans last fight was promoted by sky, they just pulled the plug at the last minute. If Khan goes with primetime for his next fight sky probably wont even mention it is taking place.

That's only because Primetime were willing to buy the fight and put it on PPV, which Sky would do anyway had Khan fought a credible opponent thus earning him more than Primetime could have dreamt of. So it's his own fault. Or Bradley's or whomever you wish to believe is ducking who.

But Khan has had enough exposure in the UK as it is. The reason he went to the US was because he was overexposed here. Every other week it seems there is a story about Khan in the papers. He's the biggest active name in UK boxing right now, bigger than David Haye.

He has plenty people who will buy his PPV even for a sub-par fight in the UK. If Sky give him the right money for his PPV thats cool but if he is getting a bum deal from Sky he isn't exactly LOSING. He's getting a good wedge from his US earnings, his global earnings and he'll get the UK Sky deal. I hear you but in my opinion NAHHH.

I mean if he goes to a network that pays him more and is just as accessible as Sky people are gonna buy the PPV in the UK cos it will be hyped in the news. Carl Froch barely makes the news except on fight night. Amir is followed by paparazzi in the UK. He doesn't need the Sky exposure.

Its pretty obvious Bradley is waiting out his contract with Shaw so effectively Brad is ducking. Fighting McCloskey instead of Peterson, who lost out there? Lamont Peterson. Who's he fighiting? What's he earning now?

I hoe khan does go to primetime and sky ignore him. He's an arrogant chump who's unwilling to fight anyone who has a chance of beating him because him and roach know his glass jaw is getting smashed again if he fights Prescott

Khan needs to be staying with Sky.

No one can do exposure like Sky, ultimately it's a monopoly here in the UK.

Khan and Sky are made for each other

Amir Khan should just worry about winning and then Sky News will come along.

Khan needs to stay with Sky, Sky currently have the best upcoming UK boxing schedule since the downfall of Setanta and with the inclusion of Ringside, their 1 hour weekly boxing magazine show, Sky seem to finally be showing a real commitment to boxing once again.

I wonder how much Froch got paid to make this statement? Its a massive story, all over the press. Only thing that buried it was the fight getting signed.

froch get noticed when he talk about Amir, truth.. no sky exposure can help him.

Amir is all over paper even when he goes to toilet so i dont think sky is a game breaker for him. he is more concentrating on HBO money and american exposure at the the min, which is also important.

If he advertise on national tv and do ppv on primetime people would buy amir anyways. its either cos you wana see him knocked out or win, much like people watch mayweather. i heard he did 6 times more than carl froch even after switching to prime time in 6 days notice.

Having said that sky and amir need each other in the long term! khan is the most marketable boxing star in uk and he hasnt his prime yet. if i own sky i would sack the people behind this mess cos its business and its a bad decision that cost some serious money in future for both parties and its cardinal sin in business.

i just booked an online streaming from primetime website of 14.95 and i thought it was a good deal. online is the future,
