If the Super Six and the difficulty of negotiations independent of any tournament between the fighters at 140 has taught us anything, it's that this type of tournament would be impossible to pull off correctly.

Seed them up front and make it a knockout style.

Based on belts and record you get a higher seed. Higher seeds facing off against the lowest.

Say to each in this round you get $X. Get through to the next round and you get $X.

If any fighter doesn't like the money like Bradley then he can stay out of it and fight Kell Brook for a cent while everyone else has the chance to build a huge reputation and earn a career high payday and become P4P 1 or 2.

It would be even bigger than Pacquiao v Mayweather.

Get Bradley, Khan, Maidana, Salita, Judah, Guerrero, Morales (maybe Peterson if a tournament is too much for Morales), Alexander/Matthysse and have an 8-way tournament.

Too many big fights to be made without some sort of tournament to make them happen.

And the only reason any of them would back out is due to fear of losing as there's too much to gain from it.

Mayweather isn't fighting. Pacquiao won't be for much longer. The winner is going to easily overtake their mantles. There's too much tough opposition for the winner not to massivly increase their stock and become P4P 1 or 2 by the end of it.

Twitter them all and HBO/Showtime and make them want it!!

There was an unofficial 140 pound tourney going on all ready but it didn't have the feel of a tourney like 168 did.


The Super 6 was very organized with all the points and brackets, and fighters HAD to fight each other and it was only AFTER they fought, that some pulled out, and they were replaced anyways.


The unofficial 140 pound tourney was really gay and sloppy, and of course Bradley ruined it. All tourneys should be as organized as the Super 6 or don't even make it at all.

That would be pretty nasty. Khan would probably win it though unless Judah or Maidana could put his lights out which would be difficult since he is pretty dang fast.

Not going to happen with everybody demanding more money and walking out on fights. We really don't even need a tournament. We just need Bradley to fight Khan and the issue of who's the man is settled.
