    Arum(and *******s) are ruining Pacquiao's ATG status

Honestly Pacquiao started off so well after he beat Ledwaba... but ever since the last two years arum has been ruining his legacy(not his current, but his future) with these garbage fights.

    Clottey who?
A shot Margarito(he looked horrible against garcia and that was his only comeback fight)
    A shot Mosley
and now 2 fights with a 38 year old lightweight at welterweight?

The right fights for Pacquiao are if not Ortiz, then obviously Martinez at 150 or conquering the 140 pound division- or at the very LEAST unifying all the welterweight belts.

Sure this **** is good for Pacquiao's wallet, but for his status as a legend, and a historic representative of Filipino greats, it's not doing a damn thing

I wish *******s would stop and smell the coffee.. by supporting these fights and lying and saying anything to make Pac look good, you're just encouraging this circus act and ensuring that Pac won't be remembered as a legend and an ambassador for Filipino Fighters because no serious fan can look at these fights and say that Pac is fighting the best opposition.

Sure Paris Hilton and her friends might think Pac is the bomb for beating up old men.. but who the **** cares.

Nothing can ruin Pac's ATG status. His current status is another story.

Once you've reached that sort of status, he can fight whoever he desires. Arum can do nothing but accept Pacquiao's demands, it's Manny's fault if he's allowing Arum to take charge.

He's already an ATG, he's not really ruining that, his rep is a different story though. He could be doing so much better now...that's the main issue.

He's not ruining his ATG status. He will always be considered at ATG.

But he isn't enhancing his legacy where he could have and is leaving a bad taste in peoples mouths on his career that has been exceptional.

I've never been one to understand how a fighter can ruin their legacy. A legacy is a legacy, you can't erase what a fighter has already done, no matter how they end their career. Pacquiao could start fighting featherweights that have to move up to 144 for the rest of his career and it wouldn't change what he did beforehand.

It's a shame to see two bonafide ATG fighters like Pacquiao and Mayweather not take chances that could rocket them up in the annals of the sport though.
