I think Chavez is actually a little better than a prime Margs. Which isn't saying much cuz I've never thought much of Margs, but Chavez size and left hook will make it tough on cotto. Let's not forget cotto is probably a natural WW. Im a big Cotto fan but this ain't as easy as it seems if jcc jr beats cotto Puerto Rican boxing will hit a low point.

I just never saw Margarito as a very good fighter. The reason he fought at 147 so long is he didn't have enough pop to go up against guys his own size(154-160) he's a punching bag with an iron chin. He did his best against guys that let him fight downhill without standing their ground. Im not saying Chavez is a great fighter, but id give him the edge over a prime margs especially with roach in his corner and good conditioning he's not fast and not a great puncher but margs is a mummy and Chavez has a decent body attack. Ive always maintained that i seriously think cotto would've had a late stoppage of Margs if he would've chopped down down that tree and thrown that money maker left hook to the body. Just my humble opinion.
