All i remember about that fight was that it was boring, i think i had Froch winning but i really don't want to watch it again, terrible fight.

I truly believe to become the champ you must beat the champ. Dirrell did not.

I feel sorry for USA boxing fans at this time due to black American boxers. USA is the laughing stock of the world. HBO has started to spend less on boxing and once the casinos follow suit, America will be no longer the fight capital of the world. Too much greed.

When I watched it the first time, I felt like Dirrell won it. I watched it again and saw it as a fairly even fight, maybe leaning towards Froch.

The reason this fight was tough to score is that neither Frock or Dirrell were effective for most of it.

The sad part about all of this is that Dirrell is probably the most talented fighter at 168 by far. I just don't think his head or heart is in the game. Froch on the other hand can be slow and uncoordinated in the ring. Froch does have good fundamentals and is smart in there, with some obvious speed weaknesses, but also has tremendous will and heart.

I don't know that I'd go this route flying that flag. While the world is certainly going to shift from the centralness of America (simply due to GDP % of total global economy) that Flag is going no where fast.

Most of Europe is going to find itself in 40-50 years of negative population growth and suffering from a large amount of immigration. So......that will be nice.

Direll is another of those young black americans who are Naturally Gifted and Superior to the white boys and mexicans but they dont have HEART or BALLS.

Direll is a lazy coward who thinks that doing the minimum will win him the fight. Thats why he will always lose to a less gifted Boxer who has heart. When will these fighters learn that you need to have heart and balls to be a Boxer? To him he just wants to hug and fake injuries to a decision. Mexicans/Europeans are willing to die in the ring and give their fans a show. Americans just want to hug/run/lowblow/headbutt and fake injury to a decision.

Maybe one day we will get a AA who is willing to die in the ring and use all of his natural talent. Thats the day he will have ALOT of fans and will sellout anywhere in the states. Until that happens guys like Direll,Ward,Berto,Dawson,Alexander,Bradley will NEVER be big draws until they learn to respect the fans and respect the boxing game.

But nah, they will try to do the bare minimum and cheat their way to a decision infront of 90 fans at home while Adamek is packing 20k in NJ every time.

AA cry about fans not supporting them, but who wants to see a boring fighter cheat and cry to a boring win?

I would like to see him get banned by all of boxing commisions and stripped of his license, when asked why they should say he's a health risk.

Please make a new thread regarding GDP,PPP and our respective wealth comparable to boxing and the overall growth.

The fact is, boxing is a niche sport in the USA and dying a slow death. HBO is putting less money promoting the sport.

There is a finite resource on this Earth and growth will become affected, but it will not affect boxing short term.

i think what froch ment as in terms of taking punches and punishment that the dirrel and abraham were easy fights, taken out of context almost certainly ..

There was nothing wrong with dirrel after the abraham fight he just *****'d out of fighting ward.. Alexander, Dirrel, Bradley, Peterson should all be tarred with the same brush, They have amazing skills but seriously need to toughen up grow some man balls ...
