Lets be honest without Top rank, GBP would not last long in the business. Top rank has all the money makers and they know how to make a " Star ". GBP's biggest money maker right now IMO is Alvarez and that kid still has a long long way to go. khan is not as big as I thought he is. especially not in the US.

Top rank meanwhile has Pac who is very active and generates a million PPV a fight. He has countless match ups that would make money. Tony-Cotto II, Cotto-Chavez jr., Tony-Chavez jr. etc.

Or maybe Khan. I dont care how much money they make, although obviously they have to profit in order to keep making and promoting better fights. Arum aint going anywhere dammit, so it is good if the Golden Girls can work with him.

The " lawsuit " is just a gag-order, and will come to nothing.

If that was not the case, then no way would Arum have let GBP " apologise " their way out of legal action.

And I doubt that it will shut Mayweather up anyways.

The " lawsuit " against Mayweather will be rescinded during the second official negotiation for a Pac/May fight.

no, it should be clear at this point that the case was legit and the defendants were (mayweathers are) going to lose.

Arum bargained with gbp and let them out of the case with a public apology AND other deals that gbp had to agree to. Bob made it clear that in the sit down about the marquez offer, a lot of other issues were ironed out. Gbp could've prevented the pac-jmm fight from happening this fall, until next year even if they couldn't match the offer, they still had the right to block a deal until feb. In exchange for stepping aside and probably dropping their contractual claim to donaire, along with the apology, arum agreed to let them off the legal hook and probably promised co-promotions in the near future.
