marquez is a ducker....he always fights bum and smaller fighters(katsidis, diaz, casamayor...) instead of fighting cotto, margarito, clottey and even Mosley.....

He's ducking Brandon Rios.

I think that Bradon Rios is better than all the guys at 140 even though he's smaller. Why does JMM need a tune up for? Why don't he take a tough fight to stoke more interest in the rubber match? Even for me, it's hard for me to envision this as a competitive fight without seeing JMM do something against either Rios like I mentioned or a top 140 lber.

This fight is a hard sell for me only watching JMM beat up on some chump in the lead up to the fight. But this is what JMM has been doing his whole career. Ducking tough fights and then say everybody is scared of him.

and when he beat him JMM was chasing a Multi-Million $ fight with the #1 p4p in the world

what would you do fight a guy you've chased for 3 years and get a couple Million when you land him .. and get the opportunity to fight for a 4th division title?

or fight a new belt holder at a division you already dominate ?

plus Rios should fight Guerrero and Soto before he fights the Lineal LW champion
