all the fights being mentioned are tough fights. marquez just wants a gimme tune up to shake off any ring rust. i do agree that he should fight a legit 140 boxer.

Diaz saved himself a terrible beating. He's target practice for JMM and with his style, chin, and toughness it would have only prolonged it. JMM should take on a faster southpaw, instead of one of the slowest. Alexander, Judah, or Guerrero would be good, but they aren't tuneups for JMM (although he'd win against all 3 IMO).

Spadafora or Corley would be the best options.

Diaz is too low a risk, Judah is too high a risk.

Why not Antonio Demarco? He's a southpaw, he's young, not too high a risk, not too low a risk. Just right for a tune up.

its time for him to fight a real jr WW like Judah....but i highly doubt it...Marquez even avoided a real fights at Lightweight by fighting overhype Diaz twice who lost 5 of his last 6 fights....fighting c-class fighter in Katsidis(battered by guerrero, KO by Casamayor) instead of fighting real Lightweight like Soto, Guerrero and Rios.....even fight bigger guys at WW Cotto, Margarito, Clottey and even Mosley....

****** *******! That isint even Marquez's weight class so why would he fight against them! And by the way all thoes fighters that Marquez fought at the stage he fought them in is way better than the stages Pacquiao fought his opponents in (Weightdrained and Old...) That's like saying Giovani Segura is a ducker for not fighting Montiel, Gonzalez, Donaire, Mares, Darchinyan. How could he duck them if that's not his weight class!
