Fighting twice this month is impressive, though. He deserves credit for that, soft opposition aside.

IMO that's more impressive than what even Hopkins did.
I'm a huge WV2 fan and give Arce all the credit in the world for what he accomplished. One more thing to take into consideration when the discussion is Hall of Fame inclusion, especially considering that he accomplished this at a point in his career when he's much closer to retirement than his prime.

My vote still goes to Hopkins, though.

Can someone remind me who vazquez jr beat compared to who pascal beat and how old arce was and how old bhop was. I forget.
don't expect a reply to that. Vazquez was green who never really fought anyone good in the first place. Just because he was young and considered a top prospect he was favored over arce.

Arce is 31 years old by the way. So the "arce is fighting in a division where old fighters aren't suppose to be" is laughable when comparing it to a 46 year old man fighting the Light Heavyweight champ (not just some title holder) who is 18 years younger than him.

I'm not expecting one, people have been conveniently side stepping that question all thread.

The funniest/worst thing about the post was how "It's not even close" according to his post.

So Bhop beating the recognized champ at 175, who beat a pfp ranked fighter in Chad Dawson at age 46 (oldest ever in the hundred plus years of boxing) IS NOT EVEN CLOSE to Arce, who's 31, beating a guy that won a vacant title over a dude that was 14-0. Arce's opponent hadn't even SNIFFED the ring with a Ring Top 10 contender at Super Bantam, and Pascal had wins over 2 of them, 2 titlists. Plus a close FOTY type fight with Carl Froch...

              BUT ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE.

Jake even looked at dude's post and didn't say a thing about it. Bhop hate is outta control.
