what?!? Obviously it's a three way race between Daniel Geale, Denis Lebedev and Chris Arreola!! All three of these guys wins completely **** on Hopkins entire legacy! Daniel Geale beat the immortal Sebastian Sylvester by Split decision. Denis Lebedev KTFO a prime Roy Jones and Chris Arreola beat a couple bums, BUT even though he's still fat he's LESS fat than he was in a looong time!!

Clearly those are larger accomplishments than becoming the oldest person in the history of the sport to win a world championship. CLEARLY!

Oh whoops, I forgot Jorge Arce, who beat a green puerto rican who never really fought anyone good before. That's better too!

        True.

But I want to make sure at least 100 of our posters get a chance to vote before declaring a winner.

I'm sure by tomorrow there will be more than that.

So 94 people have already voted.

It's Arce and it's nit even close IMO.

Arce is fighting in a division where old fighters aren't suppose to be. He has no legs, if you watch carefully they shake while he walks. And he just beat a very young hungry fighter who is actually good. And he tkoed him in a very tough fight.

IMO that's more impressive than what even Hopkins did.

              I agree.

And unlike Hopkins, he didn't need to thumb his opponent in the eye, punch him in the kidneys or use deliberate headbutts. Arce is a courageous ring warrior who doesn't resort to cheating and fouling, he defeated his opponent by fair and legal means.

EDIT: was a bit quick there, didn't see old man Bernard in the poll
My problem with this... is that we're giving way too much credit for a fighter being in shape, which is what his job requires.

That's the amazing thing about procrastination and underachievement. The moment you actually do your job, the world is ready to sing your praises, whereas we should be saying, "It's about damn time."

Fighting twice this month is impressive, though. He deserves credit for that, soft opposition aside.
