You know what the difference is? Sure, Armstrong fought scrubs too in between fights. But they were often, they fought those bums to stay very active. Not for world titles, not as big fights. As the original poster said, they were stay warm fights. For Pacquiao, and he is not alone, these bull**** fights are the actual events. These are the fights people are using to justify his being an ATG. And seriously, are you really wowed by him when you watch him fight? The moving up thing is impressive, I don't take away from that up to the Margarito fight. But seriously, he never leaves me saying wow, what a fighter.

Let me ask people who think Pac is a top 10 or top 5 ATG. Does he pass the eye test? When you watch him fight do you actually and honestly see a guy that you say wow, he may be one of the greatest fighters to ever step in the ring. Nobody but truly the greatest of all time could beat this guy. He'd make many top fighters look bad.

I mean, we do actually need to WATCH the fighters we're comparing, don't we?

ATG has more to do with resume and accomplishments than skills and talents.
