BHop vs. Dawson. BHop wins he gets Bute. Dawson wins he gets Pascal rematch.
Cloud vs. Diaconu. Winner gets the loser of the BHop/Dawson fight, and if they win that they can go for one of the SMWs or Bute, though the chances of Bute fighting 2 real fighters, not so sure bout that...

Hope Hops takes that dude's heart though because he's got too many fans on here who think that he's a great fighter when he's just decent.
A decent fighter beat Adamek? Oh ok... Having said that, going by Dawson's last fight, there isn't much hearty to take. Let's hope Dawson simply wasn't "up" for that fight, and will perform much better against Hopkins. If Dawson isn't a live dog in there, he may get a real nice beating, if Bernard wants to put on another show.

lol Hopkins put a beating on Dawson? If Hopkins were to win, it would be through a close decision, not a beating, especially with Hopkins work-rate.

Dawson was off for 9 months and recently switched trainers, of course he wasn't going to look his best. I remember when Dawson fought Glen Johnson for the first time, he didn't look sharp, and barley won a close decision. During that time Dawson was inactive for 8 months and recently switched trainers. After that bout Dawson looked like his old self against Antonio Tarver. Trust me Dawson is going to look much better against Hopkins.

I think it's time Dawson puts an end to the Hopkins bandwagon, and when they fight I expect Dawson to give him a beating.

i like chad dawson, he's a good fighter, but lets be honest: he struggles with fighters who use lateral movement. thats how pascal beat him. he's only effective with fighters who stand right in front of him, such as adamek. remember, bernard hopkins is a master of side-to-side movement (see kelly pavlik fight). dawson needs to "get set" before throwing his combinations. pascal didn't allow him to do so by continuously moving side-to-side. unless emanuel steward can correct this flaw in dawson, hopkins beats him, just as pascal did.

that would make for a great card! but what if pascal and hopkins win? do we really need to see a third fight between these two? hopkins already beat him twice. and bute is still out there..waiting.

Cloud is coming for both their asses. My favorite African-American fighter going today. Hope he gets his chance to shine on the big stage.

The problem is Hopkins is 46 years old, yeah he uses good lateral movement, but he's not a constant mover like Pascal. Hopkins can't simply slip and dodge Dawson's punches the same way Pascal did. And Dawson isn't dumb he will correct his mistakes.

you act like Hopkins hasnt put beatings on any boxers before. even with not a heavy workrate he put one on Pavlik and others. not saying its going to happen. i think the Hopkins-Dawson fight will be close but i wouldnt be surprised if Hopkins makes Dawson look foolish.

i agree he'll look better than his last fight but that doesnt mean its gonna be like that everytime out. Hopkins could possibly out smart him and frustrate him enough to make him miss and pay for it. Hopinks may be 46 but he isnt that easy to hit even if he isnt using much lateral movement. even Steward says Dawson needs to have more fire in his fight. he better hope he doesnt act like the uninterested fighter he has been. you figure even off only an 8 month lay off he would of fought like that in his last fight with Steward now backing him. you know he told em that stuff before his last fight. this dude is young and 8-9 months off is nothing compared to what some other fighters have been off and some look a hell of a lot better than he did off longer lay offs. i could really under stand a few more months but 8 isnt that bad. i do believe it'll be a close fight though.
