IBF light heavyweight champion Tavoris Cloud wants a crack at the winner of the upcoming fight between WBC champion Bernard Hopkins and his mandatory challenger Chad Dawson. Negotiations for Hopkins-Dawson are going well and an HBO televised date could be secured by next week. Cloud is making a mandatory defense of his own, on June 25 against Yusaf Mack.

I think Dawson is too tall a tree for BHop to chop down but hopefully he proves me wrong. Guy put himself in the history books a decade ago but still he does more. I tip my hat to him.

I think that Cloud will get by Mack and should get a shot at B Hop/Dawson. My guess is that Dawson will beat B Hop.

Dawson is lucky he's got a rematch clause though or Hopkins wouldn't waste his time with the fight and I wouldn't blame him either. He's probably gonna get paid a lot less than what he got fighting Pascal but he's got no choice. Lol.
