i miss big george foreman as the hbo commentator

He doesn't make sense, he doesn't call fights right and he also contradicts himself alot. He's supposed to bring boxing expertise and 1st hand knowledge to the crew but he doesn't know half of what Roy knows.

He must know something about boxing to be ranked by every boxing expert as among the top 10 best heavyweights of all time. Plus his personality in my opinoin is so much better than is Jones'.

He is a great boxer don't get me wrong but as a commentator he's awful. When he retred HBO was extatic about having someone as colorful and accomplished boxer in the booth. He definitely didn't bring his greatness with him in the booth and he seems to say some ****** **** when the cameras are on.

Roy does say some BS but in between it he does throw out some good boxing info. During fights Roy brekas down fights better and give good analysis. George usually says the same lines over and over again and most of the time that info. is bad.

I love george on HBO of all the sport shows I watch George is one of the best commentators around. Its not his knowledge or anything its just his attitude is awesome.

The thing about Roy Jones as a commentator is all he does is he relates everything to himself constantly and non stop which is extremly annoying. Roy Jones I have to say is quite a deluded individual.

You really seem to have almost a personal grudge against George Foreman. Whether its an act or not. On camera and on microphone he is an extremely personable guy. I dont know why anybody would hate that.

he was hit in the head to many times he makes some of the dumbest commentary IMO i rather like Roy Jones Jr.

i think sugar ray leonard had some good analysis back in the 80s when he was commentating he told ppl how to beat mike tyson and i guess no one heard him he told all the keys on how to beat ppl but i guess no one took his advice but george is still the man.
