i miss big george foreman as the hbo commentator

although big george is a lil biased and punchy at times cuz he tells advice that makes no sense, but he IS a BETTER commentator than roy jones...he is more entertaining...it seems like roy is more focused on sounding kool rather than commentating...o well RJ is still fine but not as kool as Big George

I completely agree. When RJJ is a commentator, all he ever does is basically say how the guys in the ring AREN'T him, he throws in some actually insightful points sometimes, but for the most part, he uses that position to be on TV without having to get hit for it.

Roy is all about roy, which is fine it's a free country and all, but he's not a good commentator and I hate having a fight be spoiled by his jibba jabba.

Plus that damn fat lip flaps around so much it's like his mouth is having a seizure.

I thought i would miss him too but RJJ has been relatively good.

He did a sucky job at it when he was still boxing but then he got more into the fights and i like how he corrects merchant on the spot sometimes lol.

Big George is probably taking time off to be with friends and family. If I were the head of an extended clan, hell! I wouldn't spend too much time away from family.

Foreman is a great commentator. I wish he would stay again with HBO permanent.

Big George and Ray Leonard are probably the 2 worst commentators. ****, I think Jermaine Taylor would be a better then George.

What do you have against him in particular compared to other commentators? I think he is great with Lampley and Merchant.

He doesn't make sense, he doesn't call fights right and he also contradicts himself alot. He's supposed to bring boxing expertise and 1st hand knowledge to the crew but he doesn't know half of what Roy knows.
