Well of course, he was extremely lazy. I just don't buy it yet, maybe he's doing better this time but from what I've seen (last 6 or 7 fights) he's a limited boxer. Let's hope that with this training camp he'll improve, but I still see him as an overrated boxer, protected by Top Rank, and without the heart to become a true world champion. Maybe I'm wrong, only time will tell.

Chavez has progressed slowly and rose in weight but not to bad for a kid with little amature back round how far can he go is to be seen.

Go on youtube and watch Vanes toy with this guy in sparring. I don't think Chavez will ever be anything special, but the guy he's facing isn't all that impressive either. Maybe he'll peak with this win. Then again Cotto is a WW fighting a MW if that fight happens.

In the sparring with Vanes Chavez was easy to hit but so was Vanes. I dont know who would win in a real fight but Chavez it seems hits harder than Vanes and his punching power might be improved now. But he has to work on his defence. His punchin technique is not that bad but his defence sucks.
