At the end of the day Pacs a former jmw and WW champ. He wants to fight a LW that can't fight above 140.

At least you admit it. I am when speaking of Jones Jr. At the end of the day this is still a LW that is known to not perform at his best above 140 vs a former jmw champion that has been fighting at WW for a few years now. Styles make fights and that is the reason they want to see the same JMM that showed up vs Floyd.

Btw the contract was changed so Floyd could legally weigh more than 144. The contract was changed. He paid 600k to JMM to sign the changed contract. The fight should have never been made as Floyd's a WW and JMM is a LW. Floyd was rightfully bashed yet now people want to give Pac the slide. Much like they attempted to do vs Mosley when we all said he was shot after Floyd technically destroyed him (mora validated this)

c'mon man. the agreed penalty for not coming in the agreed weight was $300,000.00 per pound. floyd came in 2 lbs heavier, so he paid a PENALTY of $600,000.00 for it.

if floyd did decide to pay for the change of the contract, then why the specific amount of EXACTLY $600,000.00 the very same amount of the penalty? Why not $500k? or $700k?

WHEN did floyd pay the $600k? before or AFTER the weigh in?

Again your missing the point I already bashed Floyd for that fight. I didn't however bash Floyd vs Hatton. That was a real fight. That had been talked about for years much like Floyd and Pac are now. the only thing they changed in the contract was him no longer needing to pay additional fines.

the fight in the contract was STILL for 144 lbs. they never changed it to 146 lbs. hence, the payment of the penalty.

and the contract was changed practically at the last minute forcing Marquez to agree to it otherwise, all that preparation and time spent would have been wasted.

Cotto was given much time to consider his options and when he finally decided to agree to it, he wasn't FORCED to ANOTHER compromise at the last minute.

in fact, it took quite some time for cotto to decide to the point people thought that the fight wouldn't push through.

you dont get a pink slip just coz you cant do things the other can...boxing is separated by weight claas alone..not height class, skill class or whatever.....pac an jmm are the same size....weight does'nt matter at all.....
