Sergio is doing what ALL fighters have been doing. delahoto challenged smaller Gatti, SSM, and smallest of all PACQUIAO. No one b!tched. hobkins fought TITO, delahoto, both smaller, no one b!tched. Margarito fought smaller PACQUIAO, no one b!tched. Fight for the money Sergio, like the above mentioned fighters did, regardless of the weight. And get PAID!! Collect that cash!!!!!

I actually like what Sergio is doing and I hope the fight gets made later on down the road.

My issue is two fold.

1. There is nothing wrong with Martinez pursing smaller fighters as that is traditionally what the MW champ has done (Monzon, Haglar, Hopkins LaMotta etc).

2. Those who think Manny is ducking Martinez, not realize how small Manny is even at WW, and the fact he has only been at 147 for a lil over a year and just 3 years ago he was at 130. It's ridiculous for people to expect him to fluctuate up in weight that fast and if he doesn't the. He is some type of ducker.

Even greats like Armstrong and others who went up in weight fought tons of fights in those classes prior to moving up (to allow there body to get use to it) so why can't Manny take a few fights at 147 before moving up?

Common Larry you are better than this... Say what you say, but still Sergio is just being a bully!!! Floyd and Manny atleast went up and challenged a bigger guy, those guys maybe old and shot as some would claim but still they were bigger guys with skills and never bums... Sergio is being a ***** going after Floyd and Manny, if money is his motivation, why not challenge the bigger guys like Hopkins, Bute, Ward, Haye, Klitschko or even Valuev to make it a circus!! Now if Floyd and Manny came up and wanted to challenge Martines for his crown, then i have no problem with that.. Both obviously is at a disadvantage but wanted to fight Sergio for legacy....

MARTINEZ WANTS THE BIGGEST MONEY! FLOYD OR PAC. NOT THE TOUGHEST FIGHT. I would do the same if i were in his shoes! he is not a young man with many more years in the sport!
