This fight and his 164 catchweight for the SuperMiddle Belts against Hearns (the 3rd Duran fight was also SuperMiddle, neither man weighed more than 160) are the reason why the world remembers Sugar Ray Leonard as the cherry picking catchweight king.

So Ray Leonard fought for championships 3 times with a catchweight in his 40 fights?

Leonard-Lalonde (168 catchweight, super middle and light heavy titles on the line)
Leonard-Hearns II (164 catchweight for supper middle title)
Leonard-Duran III (160 catchweight, middle and super middle titles on the line)

How can anyone consider this guy an all time great?

So we're going to make believe that Ray's career after Hagler never happened?

record 8 weight titles (and counting), record 4 lineal titles (and couting), Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Cotto (carreer still going) ain't nothing to frown at.

Just keep it consistent, if Manny is a fraud for catchweight fights, so is Shooga Ray Leonard (and a ton of fighters throughout history).

                      **** are you talking about?

Ray Leonard is in the history books as a 5 division champion, that's a major part of his legacy... yet he never actually fought at/a LHW, at least Margarito weighed-in at LMW.

Trying to make believe a major part of a fighter's career didn't happen just to fit your agenda. I thought you were better than that
