  • Which of these 2 evils are worse??

Evil #1-Floyd Mayweather coming out of retirement to fight Marquez, because he called him out.At a catchweight of 144,while not even bothering to make weight.

Evil#2-Manny Pacman fighting Margarito at 150 for a vacant strap to make a history 8th title champion. This while Margarito couldn't get a license in half the country after he was suspended for trying to load his gloves against the great Shane Mosley.

Now bear in mind that these 2 fighters are supposed to be the 2 best fighters of this generation. They trade places as pfp king whenever Floyd's retired a$$ needs more money. All this while guys like Martinez have to accept catchweights to fight the Punisher & was cherrypicked against the bigger Pavlik, but still cannot overcome at least 1 of these guys for top current fighter. And B-Hop is spanking guys 18 years younger for legitimate titles at the ripe old age of 46.

try thinking subjective here, martinez has no arguement for being above either of these guys(floyd, pacquiao) when they are active

do you think pacquiao just jumped out of nowhere straight to number 1 after beating de la hoya?

pacquiao and mayweather have been in the top 10 for YEARS

in pacquiao's case, he has been in the top 10 for 10 years, it took him 6 years to become number 1
i imagine it was pretty much the same numbers for floyd

why the hell would martinez suddenly jump to number 1 just because he beat two hype jobs?

Blah, the B-Hop & Martinez part of the original post is there to simply contrast the evils of Pacman & Floyd. They are not the point of the tread. There just there to remind fight fans that some good has been going down also. The evils homey, which 1 is worse.

Floyd and jmm fight was tune up after having 2 years off that’s understandable. Pac fighting mag for a record 8th title at a catch-weight was a fucking disgrace to the sport and fighting a 39 years old shot to shit Shane and now a 38 years old jmm@144 is fucking inexcusable.

both are evil. Floyd said he was coming back out of retirement to cleanup the welterweight division and he only fought a 38 yr old Shane while Pacquiao was "in pursuit" of an 8th title and fought a cheater at a catchweight.

imagine all the flak and discredit marquez would get today had he beaten a weight drained floyd mayweather @ 144 coming off a 2 year layoff though... assuming pacquiao critics are consistent.
