imagine all the flak and discredit marquez would get today had he beaten a weight drained floyd mayweather @ 144 coming off a 2 year layoff though... assuming pacquiao critics are consistent.

Foyd coming off the bench after 2 yrs to get some rounds in against a LW @ WW is NOT all THAT bad imo....but Manny gettin' the strap @ 150 against Marg was way too much....then to call it a record 8th world title was just so wrong!!...that was worse than Floyd fighting JMM imo....no titles or historic records were at stake...Manny got this one!!

I'm looking at my poll & am shocked to see Floyd ahead by more than twice the amount.This just proves that no matter what,Manny will get passes.I 'm just observing the poll.There is a point here that needs to be made.But 1st I wanna see if anyone else is capable of being unbiased.

Marquez deserved the payday vs Mayweather.. he didn't get badly beat up either.

Pac/Arum gave a known cheater a huge payday for doing nothing since being brutally knocked out by Mosley.

This is a ****** thread. Everyone knows (outside of *******s and pbf fans) that these two are a cancer to the sport. They dont fight credible fights anymore. I refuse to answer the question, as I believe both are evil as faack!

Until they fight legitimate up & comers with a decent resume, these two "future hall of famers" should either retire or take a break, so us fans can enjoy real boxing fights.

im not disagreeing. im not defending the fight, at all. i simply said that i dont think that floyd purposely didnt try to make 44, i think he tried and couldnt. but at the same time, no one knew how JMM would look at 44 with that being said

The bold is untrue.I absolutely knew that Floyd would dominate Marquez.I was rather surprised that the fight even made the final bell.
