It's like this; Panama may have a greater boxer than any of the Mexican boxers to ever lace them up but who's enjoyed a richer boxing history? What country is currently enjoying more of a boxing success? Greats from other countries will come and go but which country will enjoy success at the world stage on a consistent basis?

Mexico has veteran champs still performing at a world-class level that may be on their way out. They have solid champions that have years left to defend or capture more belts and Mexico has many solid prospects that will be their successors after they are gone. Can the Philippines say the same after Pac and Donaire are gone? What if Pac retires next tear and Donaire gets brutally koed into journeyman status, who will the Philippines have then?

When Marquez retires will be many boxers for Mexicans to chose from. When Montiel got koed we had a wave of capable Mexicans that won multiple belts in foreign lands. Mexico has some promising prospects in the lower weights and in the higher weights. So who do you think enjoys more success in boxing?
Philippines still have undefeated fighters like Mercito Gesta, Drian Francisco, Milan Melindo not to mention exciting fighters Rodel Mayol, Donnie Nietes. Pacquiao and Donaire will still rule against Mexicans for a long time..I like Mex boxers though.

Bro I admire and respect Filipino people inside and outside the ring. I am not trying to disrespect, discredit or disparage the Filipino boxing culture and history in any way. What I am doing is responding to idiots like Komandante and Republica with facts when they attack Mexican boxers and Mexican boxing in general.

I'm giving them a taste of their own medicine if you will but in a more respectful manner.

I recognize the greatness of Filipino boxing but some posters here fail to acknowledge the greatness of Mexican boxing and criticize it at any given chance.

Anyways, you are right about some of those boxers beating some Mexicans but I am simply trying to point out that Mexican boxers have competed and beaten even your greatest fighters whereas some of the greatest Mexican fighters have never been beaten by a Filipino fighter and the average Mexican champion is seldom defeated by a Pinoy fighter.

werd up homie!!!! I do the same thing in response to Mexican posters who try to act all high and mighty. We know Mexico is the ****.. Don't have to put Pinoy boxing down... Mexico and Mexicans got no reason to feel insecure.. Pinoy fighters look up to Mexican fighters for the most part and try to be like Mexican warriors.. .
