You may be right. But there is also 250 million white people in the usa alone. So if you think about it ********** like boxing much more then white people since white people out number minorites probally not even 1 percent of the white public are boxing fans. Accord to bob arum mexican fans are his huge buyers of ppv and tickets. I have to agree I been to more boxing matches and seen more ********** in the stands except for when I went to jersey and saw arturo gatti vs micky ward.

I think it has to do with lack of white fighters and ********** dominating the sport look at baseball I have yet to see on tv a staduim fill up it is not like the old days.

Basketball on the other hand is becoming dominated by european and whites now which is ironic.

Yeah I saw the legendary nights of Cooney vs Holmes and holmes was the champion and they brang cooney to the ring after holmes and announced cooney last as if he was the champ. They did a very good showing of how it was a white vs black fight and cooney was the great white hope.

I have a question, I been a fight fan for a while Im of mixed hertiage hispanic/white. I just wonder why white boxing fans are a minority if you see what is keeping boxing alive it is mainly foriegn or ethnic fight fans ie. puerto rican, mexican, central americans, filipinos and so on....I have noticed that Ultimate Fighting has many white fans is it because boxing lacks white champions and ufc is filled with white fighters?
