i think its Pac's unique angles, coupled with his speed and work rate is what allowed him to successfully compete at the higher weights.
i've watched his earlier fights and he's visibly faster. but at the higher weights, he's still fast, waaaaay faster than what his opponents are used to.
if you noticed, Pac isn't the strongest WW out there. in fact, other than Hatton, he hasn't truly knocked out ANYONE. people say dela hoya was shot when they fought but Pac failed to knock him down EVEN ONCE.
what allows pac to knock bigger opponents down is his unique angles since you really don't need to be very strong to knock a guy down. you just have to hit him at the right spot.
and as they say its the punches that you don't see coming that get to you.
