Khan should just vacate. We know these belts don't mean sh** anymore, there are like four different WBA championships now. We all know how good Khan is, he doesn't need a belt to validate it, not if they are going to make him fight a guy he already beat with no controversy.

Maidana has always looked average, his power is what makes him exciting.

People don't get it. Morales didn't make Maidana look average. Maidana is just average. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of how Maidana fights. I like his aggression, his pressure and his never give up attitude. But the truth his, he is average. The fact that he exposed Khan as being average as well just got Khan fans shook up.

I remember before the fight Khan fans were like he is gonna do this, this and this to Maidana. And with all the boxing advantages he had over Maidana he still was in the fight of his life. Now who doesn't want to see a rematch of a fight of the year? Any boxing fan would want that. Its only the fan boys that don't want to see it again.

The 140lb division is loaded with competitive fights but I don't think there are any great fighters in that division. No HOF quality fighters anyway. Its just a competitive division at the moment nothing more, but it makes for some exciting and evenly matched fights.

There was controversy in that fight, more than enough to justify a rematch.

There was little to no controversy. Khan won a UD knocking down Maidana in the process. Khan stayed up because he could take Maidana's punches not because of Cortez. Maidana just can't take the fact that his punches couldn't knock Khan down when he's supposed to be the puncher and the feather-fisted Khan had him down crying like a baby in round 1.

alot of people seem to be forgetting that khan is now the ''super'' champion basically meaning he doesn't have maditorys and its all on his terms when he fights the man down below if maidana thinks hes getting money like the last fight hes crazy , maidana can't expect to lose to khan then win one fight then expect another shot it just doesnt work like that to be honest beating morales doesn't really earn you that manditory position does it beat someone in the top ten then come again maidana
