People don't get it. Morales didn't make Maidana look average. Maidana is just average. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of how Maidana fights. I like his aggression, his pressure and his never give up attitude. But the truth his, he is average. The fact that he exposed Khan as being average as well just got Khan fans shook up.

I remember before the fight Khan fans were like he is gonna do this, this and this to Maidana. And with all the boxing advantages he had over Maidana he still was in the fight of his life. Now who doesn't want to see a rematch of a fight of the year? Any boxing fan would want that. Its only the fan boys that don't want to see it again. The 140lb division is loaded with competitive fights but I don't think there are any great fighters in that division. No HOF quality fighters anyway. Its just a competitive division at the moment nothing more, but it makes for some exciting and evenly matched fights.

I remember before the fight 90% of people were saying he was going to get KTFO yet he still won and got fight of the year in doing so. Remember Khan was schooling Maidana until he landed 1 looping shot. In your own words Maidana is average and he is coming of a poor performance against Morales so why would Khan go back there so soon. To beat him and people say what a waste of time of a fight he done that the 1st fight. Maybe a rematch a couple of fights down the line but this soon afterwards is not the best option for Amir IMO.

While Maidana ducked Bradkey TWICE.

I have a hard time giving any respect to Maidana. He needs to fight some other top fighters. Bradley - Maidana should happen, but I think Maidana is too much of a coward.

I can't wait to see maidana back in there. No way in hell khan takes that fight, he won the first one for sure but I doubt he'd win a second one. He is never gonna get anywhere near maidana and a ring again. If maidana was sitting in the front row for one of khans fight, khan might leave the arena. He doesn't wanna see maidana ever again, the money train might hit a brick wall.

Khan was winning this fight pretty handily, up until the point where he got caught. Maidana was lucky himself that the bell rang soon after he was dropped. It could be viewed either way.

don't be ridiculous guys. maidana is on a roll right now. the khan loss if anything just made him more determined. the real value of the old new morales will probably be revealed after his next match.
