    I can see your point.

I've been wanting him to fight Dawson since the Tarver schooling. I see nothing in Dawson that will trouble Hopkins, apart from perhaps his jab. And Hopkins will adjust to it, and I think a Hopkins/Dawson fight will pretty much mirror the final 5 rounds of Hopkins/Taylor I ; 'Nard busting Chad up.

I'm comfortable with whatever he wants to do at this point. At 46 years of age, some people are still hating on the guy. So it doesn't matter who he fights, or what he does ; those guys are going to hate him no matter what. So I say fuck trying to make them happy, do what you want and step out on your own terms.

Oh yeah, Hopkins also said this on the radio today.

I've done and said some things in the past while promoting a fight that I shouldn't have done.

He was expressing regret, I believe, for things like the Puerto Rican flag incident, and even moreso, the racial comments he made towards Calzaghe.

Just wanted to post that, too. For all the people who continue to call him a racist. I don't think racists regret things like that.

It still kills me how people get all over him for those antics, sure they are disrespectful and dumb but in building up to a fight I want to see some crazy antics and hear some inflammatory comments.

Well 2 more fights sounds more reasonable than fighting until he was 50...
