Much as I like Sergio, beating Mayweather would not make him P4P#1. If he moved up and beat Froch or Ward however....he makes a very, very strong case.

So lets see, Martinez in the article below says that his 5 10 frame is too small for fighters like Ward who is 2 inches taller but he has no problem with a guy who is 4 inches shorter??? I look forward to seeing Martinez KTFO some day. http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/box...ory?id=6216573Comment

indeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!!!I luv Martinez.....I luv Pac....I luv Floyd (his skills anyway).....but how does the MW champ and #2 p4p fighter, taking on the #1 p4p fighter who doesn't even make the WW limit make him the #1 p4p fighter? The p4p ranking is obviously getting pretty delusional to alot of fighters....Pac "earned" his spot by beating everyone placed in front of him (shot/old/past prime), Floyd earned it the same, beating everyone placed in front of him....Martinez should do the same....just continue fighting and beating everyone placed in front of him. He is starting to sound like Ricky Hatton before Ricky fought Pac....Comment

and did pac already said even on training on margacheato that will not go beyond welterweight coz he cant put more weights on him but since he fought Margacheato at 150, he is willing to do it again so hater will be satisfied... but wait, haters always be haters...wouldnt it be at a 150 or 152 catch weight? pac will never fight anyone at 154 (though he has/had a title in the division), we all know it would have to be at 150 and maybe serg can come in at 165 on fight night like marg did... or maybe not, im not saying pac should fight serg... i want to see pac/floyd but i just laugh at the TOO BIG argument when pac dominated a guy who weighed 3 pounds less than serg ON FIGHT NIGHT in dominant fashion
and I will ask this again, why Martinez asking smaller guys to move up to fight him while he refused to move up to fight bigger guys?
"Martinez did confirm last week he has no plans to move up to the crowded 168-pound division, because with a smaller, 5-foot-10 frame, he would be giving away too much size."

Sergio is quick to talk negative about Manny Pacquiao, a fighter that is clearly smaller than he is. Yes Sergio KO's Paul Williams, but attacking Manny, who as done great things for boxing and his country, shows that Sergio, along with Floyd Mayweather, is just jeolous of Manny Pacquiao.Comment

Maravilla dats why u on top of my p4p list, i think sergio would be too small for the 168lb guys hes more of a 154-160 guy, the only reason pacman gets to be mention its cause pacman was the 154 lb champ, when we all kno who the man from 154-160Comment
