Sergio is shhhiiiitttt. He should not even be among the top 10 p4p list. Just a big idiot chump. Mayweather and Pacman would wipe the floor with him.
What an idiot that Sergio.
Sergio just owned Manny when he said that it's easy to be P4P #1 when you keep on fighting no-hopers.
That's strange.....cuz let's see.
Pavlik was totally exposed, outboxed and outclassed by Hopkins....
Cintron ??? hahahaha
Dzinziruk ???
Williams, a real win from Sergio.... but what else ??
As soon as I read the title of this article I knew there was going to be an uproar. And lo and behold 27 pages already lol. Martinez is speaking the truth though. He would KO Pac's ass. It's the reason the fight would never be made.
But the thing is I bet Arum won't sacrifice any of his fighters against Martinez. He won't sacrifice Chavez Jr. or Cotto if he ends up beating Chavez down the line. Whether or not the fighters themselves want to fight Martinez is irrelevant. In the end Arum won't let that happen.
There's no real cash to be made @ 160 & 168, all the dough is at 154 and lower. Martinez is in his mid-30's, he doesn't have the time or convenience to be cleaning out divisions & unifying titles and all that jazz. Put yourself in his shoes. There's really no better move to make at this point in his career but to stay at 154-160 weight range and attempt to hold out for the 2 cashcows.
And for all those that are saying "HURR DURR Y IZ HE PIKIN ON SMALLER DUDES 4?????" Well, May & Pac have both won titles in that division, so obviously they're not too small to compete in that weight class.

Anyone know how long Sergio is planning on staying in the sport? He could fight a couple more years. Maybe not as ancient as BHop but he's a young 36 year old.
