What do you fellas think about Lucian Bute?

You think hes a good fighter that can beat Hopkins?
I feel hes highly over rated and if he participated in the super six tournament, he would've lost multiple times..

I keep his fight with Andrade in mind when it comes to digging deep, and I don't think he'll make it out of deep water if hes brought there again..

What do you guys think of him..

I think Hopkins wins a decision against him.. Even with Bute's speed.. Hopkins is a master a neutralizing..

Awful fighter. 1 trick pony. He literally looks mediocre in every fight until he lands his counter uppercut.

How has no one else not noticed this? He doesn't commit to anything or throw anything until he gets the opportunity to get the counter upper in to the head or body. It's his only weapon. He gets hit easy and just isn't that good. Period.

You guys need to stop sipping the kool aid and actually watch the man fight.

I agree, he sucks. I wouldn't call him overrated (except by maybe Canadians and the Anti-American crowd) he's more like overprotected. He fights nothing but bums and a mediocre fighter in Andrade should have a stoppage victory over him. He can't beat Froch, Dirrell, Ward, ect. let alone somebody like Hopkins. Expect him to get brutalized when/if he finally steps up.

He's not bad but he's all hype until he proves his worth against world class opposition, no way does he beat B-Hop in any sence

I think he's pretty good, but still a notch below Ward and Froch IMO. Time will tell.

Isnt this guy a ***ing mod? A bum does not beat Bika and destroy Miranda. Is he as good as the guys in the super 6 we still dont know but to call him a bum is just ******!
