In 20 years, will Cuba be competing with Mexico for most world champs?

Cuba is ****ing putting it DOWN in the professional ranks as of late. Especially since it is still considered a disgrace to leave Cuba to box professionally (still don't get that, you'd think they'd want to tax their purses at 90% and use them as a vehicle for "communist power").

But in 20 years or so I think Cuba will be a completely different place. the rest of their economy will soon match their excellent quality of medical care and education (for their resources). I also think they will start allowing their boxers to go pro.

I've been saying this all along. If Cubans had the welfare and the rights Puerto Ricans had, it would be Mex & PR vs Cuba. You would see a lot more domination from Cuban boxing. My 2c.
