Hopkins secretly wants no part of Calzaghe. He is going to act like he does because of his "ill never lose to a white boy" comment, because ironically and humorously, he WAS in fact subsequently defeated by a "white boy". Deep down hopkins knows calzaghe will ball all over him ONCE again

And hopkins was man enough to demand a rematch but joe didn't want to (his life, I wont blame him). So hopkins moved on to the "next best whiteboy" available which was kelly pavlik who calzaghe chose not to fight instead going after jones and the rest is history.Comment

I like Hopkins, and he deserves a better all time ranking than calzaghe, but he's not better than calzaghe. but he got taken for a ride on dai'ello bus. cleverly is definitely not ready for hopkins at this stage in his career. bernard would take him to school for 12 rounds. by the time cleverly is ready for b-hop he would have retired. warren is just using his name to boost publicity for his fighter.Comment

Why would he fight Hopkins again? it was the most boring fight ever and no one would buy it on ppv. I stated the fact that bernard was man enough to demand a rematch, so kill that noise. Like I said I don't blame joe for not taking the rematch, his life. he could have after the jones fight if he wanted to, they could have made good money together on joe's home turf.Comment
