First off, you're tripping. Viloria was sporting the Philippine's flag in his last fight, and he was born and raised in Hawaii. Ashamed??? shame on you, you have no grounds there!
Second, I like this fight, and I like both fighters. Even though Viloria has better power and handspeed, Arce isnt too far off from having the same equipment. I think this is a great fight. Arce has more world class experience and pro experience. You can't say that Viloria would walk right through Arce, because you can't ever rule out a Mexican fighter, they're warriors to the end.
I think that in this fight it's all about who gets to the other first! the first one to capitalize on the other ones mistake will win the fight..... it's a pick'em...

viloria is in the same stable with pacquiao and trained for the most part as pac is by roach.both his parents are philipinos so aint nothing wrong with waveing the boxing strong pinoy flag imo.

would like to see viloria hold off on the step and a half up in a arce fight.man arce is bigger and has gobbs more expierience then brian.not to say viloria would have a good chance against arce.

i am a viloria fan,but would like for him to learn more boxing skills in training not in a fight against the best.his great power can carry him so far. but against a more expierience arce he could get confused and make mistakes.

would rather see him take step up fights against guys like hussein first at 112. and more tuneups at 112 inbetween.

Are you serious about contreras? viloria almost killed that guy! he is not issued to fight anymore.

Viloria is a natural 112 pounder he been fighting that weight for a while he just went down to fight for the 108 pound title.

I feel Arce would be too big for Viloria at 112.

Remember that Viloria dropped weight from Flyweight (112), where he was originally campaigning, to Jr. Flyweight (108) just to get a championship fight he can't possibly have from WBC Fly champ Pongsaklek (who shamelessly picks on patsies to pad his record and ducks all big fights NOT held in Thailand) and IBF Fly champ Darchinyan who for unknown reasons refused to defend against him.

Arce won't be "too big" for Viloria. let's get it on.

sorry spidero,my mistake, not contreras who he's already beat but a mexican top contender at 112 who also fights at superfly who's name starts with a C .i went back to fightnws to find the pertaining article that mentions the guy and they don't have no archives.

vilorias ready for a full step up.i want to see him fight someone that will take him to at least the middle rounds.

I tend to agree witn him. Or her? lol!

I mean this Villoria guy have been an American all his life. And now that he has a chance at stardom he gets back to his roots. If it was the reverse, it would be a cold day in hell if this Villoria guy is gonna choose the Filipino flag over the American one. He's just after the quick hype.

I pick Villoria, handspeed and power. Although I have doubt on his stamina and whether he can dish his punches up to 12 rounds without slowing.

From the way I saw Arce fight, he has a very strong chin and is in top condition. It would definitely be a good fight.
