Corrie Sanders's 100m time at age 17 would have made him one of the 10fastest people in the history of the world pre-1948. The same Corrie Sanders who people say was unathletic etc...these old, senile, impotent, incontinent, lonely sad old men need to go back to the boxing history section and argue about how out of shape 180 lbs guys would dominate the hw division...or how Jack Johnson should have been undefeated but that you think he purposefully lost and you need no evidence to make assumptions, or the new gem I saw...156 lbs Sam Langford hit harder than Wlad Klitschko. Why dont you old people die already...quit breathing up all my air and smelling like ****. Seriously.

Heres the saddest thing. These old freaks never even watched the boxers they idolized. Most of them are just regurgitating crap their uncle told them between ******ation sessions when they were children. "Rocky Marciano was unbeatable, he hit like a truck and couldnt be hurt in the ring, now come over here and sit on my lap and lets play doctor..."

The normal people on this board, you know the ones who are under 80 and weren't ******ed as children, want to discuss boxing. We want to come here and talk rationally and we are fine with the history of boxing, but we arent braindead or ****** to nostalgia and can look at a guy like Bhop and say, "no one ever has been like this before." And you know what? I promise 60 years from now when im 80 something, if I don't take the honorable way out and shoot myself in the head, I will do my best to be open minded and not get my great grand kids to help me turn on my Apple 2gs so I can pointlessly troll boxing message boards about how Wladimir Klitschko would KO the new 8 foot tall 300 lbs super athletes.

And people say BHop and Wlad are boring...watch a Jack Johnson fight...

cut the crap, you're not here to discuss boxing, you're a ******ed fanboy of the Klits and all you ever do is nuthug your idols, particularly Vitali for whom you have a really big crush

your post history proves just that, and we don't even have to go far into it, just look at your ******ed first post in this thread, vintage ignorant, childish post, and you're a master at that

Do a Google search, Archie Moore fought 18 times in 51,
and only HW's would risk the ASS Whippin, in the future...
At the time there were a lot of Hungrey cats, and the
MONGOOSE, kicked ASS in the HW Div, for the next 6 yrs.
The Yvon Durell Fight, was a CLASSIC, and MOORE ruled LHW,
and his age was closer to The great Bhops, when in KO'd that
Canadian, but he lied alot, he only KO'd about a 120; so check it out!!!

Its a great win for Hopkins but i wouldn't go overboard. What i don't understand is how can the writer talk trash about Martinez when martinez moved up from welterweight and now at middleweight. Where as Hopkins moved down, from Light Heavyweight to middleweight and becames a vegitarian to stay at middleweight. To Hopkins credit his last truly dirty fight was against Keith Holms which gave him a much tougher fight than anyone likes to remember.

As great as Hopkins was he should not have lost to Taylor if we are calling Hopkins the best 175 since father time. It was a great win against pascal and Hopkins is a great fighter but some fighters from the past wouldn't let him survice that last round. Hopkins is the legit light heavyweight champion hell of an accompishment at 46 props.

He'd still be one of the 2-3 best fighters Foster ever beat in a title reign that made up for a weak class with utter dominance.

Moore-Hopkins would have been competitive. Moore probably wins, but it's also probably an ugly fight.
True Bhop is a throw back, but the Mongoose was NEVER in a BORING fight!!!

MOORE kicked ASS at HW, put the ROCK on his ASS too!!!
He was most Likley around 46 years Old when he KO'd Durell!!!
I don't think Bhop would argue, At LHW, MOORE the ATG!!!

Moore had a great and unique defense, but he was slow and not aggressive enough; would have been very predictable for Hopkins. Foster was talented, hit hard, but carried his hands too low, wasn't that good defensively, and even though Hopkins is a defensive genius, he still had great hand speed and power that would have stretched Foster out. Give it up for Barnard Hopkins. He's still making champions half his age look silly.
