No, Jean Pascal is a good fighter.

He's never been stopped or even knocked down, and has only two decision losses on his record.

He beat undefeated Adrian Diaconu for the vacant WBC LHW title I believe, I can be wrong, after Dawson had vacated it.

So if you want to say he was the WBC paper champion, then yes he was, since he didn't beat a title holder to get the WBC title, he got a vacant title, but it was against a worthy opponent top 5 LHW. Then he proved he was a real champion by defending it against Chad Dawson, which with that win he also won The Ring LHW title and became the man to beat at LHW. He retained all of his titles with his draw to Hopkins, now he lost it all of course with his loss to Hopkins.

I could be wrong though, not too sure of this post. But I am sure Dawson vacated the WBC belt because he had to choose between defending it or fighting Tarver, which he had to fight Tarver because it was a rematch clause and Tarver triggered it so Dawson had no choice. And Pascal fought for it when it was vacated.

Pascal was the only man to dethrone Adamek's Daddy.

Like I've been saying over And over, Pascal is just not that good

Hes kinda like baldimir at WW
a dawson that didnt show up? Umm. I guess the dawson on saturday didn't show up either, right?

Dawson loses to pascal 9 out of 10 times because dawson is only good when he fights at HIS pace and dictates the action. He doesn't like being forced to come forward and he doesn't punch when being punched AT.

Pascal dictates the pace in every fight vs Dawson. By running and then coming in and punching in spurts. Something dawson hates - Moving forward and Having to punch while being punched AT.

Cloud would have had a field day if he were in Diacs place the other night, as would nard and Pascal. dawson just isn't that good. He's talented, but he's not a "fighter", no killer instinct. It's simply sport to him nothing else.

He gets comfortable with landing 1 punch and then posing like he's hot **** - walking around the ring as if that 1 punch is enough to win the entire round.
