Max Kellerman mentioned his lineal claim during the Hopkins-Pascal HBO broadcast but he did not go into great detail. Does Zsolt Erdei have or make a claim to the light heavyweight championship of the world?

No he was the legit champ and got there by being pretty lucky

He beat a Dawson that simply didn't show up and then got Lucky when Hopkins got robbed in the first fight

Like I've been saying over And over, Pascal is just not that good

Hes kinda like baldimir at WW

yup, Darius Michalhlahsrsadf should have been lineal champ when beating Virgil Hill, and Zsolt beat the guy that beat him(Gonzalez...? some hispanic guy). and Zsolt has not retired nor has lost yet since he fights bums.

thats a very good and fair example.
beating a champ looks nice on paper, but in reality it depends more on who you beat.

The first and only time i ever saw Pascal fight was when he lost to Froch. I didnt think he was all that good to be honest with you.
After Froch beat him, i was thinking to myself when is Froch going to be in a real fighter with a proper fighter, i want to know how good Froch really is.

He vacated when he moved up to crusierweight. He only came back down to light heavy recently, which the vacancy was already filled.

And I like Carlos Baldomir, but Jean Pascal was ten times better than he was.

you sure? I thought you stayed lineal champ if you were only there for one fight or a short period of time, ie Mayweather-DLH.

No. He gave up his WBO belt in the process and said he was moving up. He was inactive and finally returned to LHW like 2 or three years later.
