Where did I say that, exactly?

I said I suspect he's on PEDs. I have no idea when he started taking them, though I suspect it was sometime after the Calzaghe loss.

He rarely gets hurt. Never tasted the canvas since mercado first fight but got put down twice by pascal.

Are you seriously trying to argue that he can't be on PEDs because he got dropped?

You heard it here first, guys - PEDs give you a better chin. That's why Roy's was so great...Oh, wait.

Remember Taylor was undefeated, in his prime and had never been exposed of anything. No one knew Taylor faded in fights. Anyways, close fights that most believe Hopkins should have won at least one, if not both, and they were more about what Hopkins didn't do versus what Taylor did (even though Hopkins out landed Taylor in bith fights but Thats another story). Did Hopkins look bad against Taylor? Not at all.

What about the fouls he feigned against Jones in the rematch? Surely that wasn't a result of Roy's workrate.
What about them? I think that ******** of a fight probably was more mental than anything - Bhop was acting like he was fighting the same guy he fought in 93, so he punched and clinched, punch and clinched, over and over. Showed Roy too much respect imo.

Regardless, I don't feel like debating this all day. Hopkins fans are the absolute worst to debate with and I say that as one of his most vocal supporters here over the year. Nothing the guy does is ever met with criticism or su****ion. I'm simply stating my opinion on the matter.
Hopkins fans are the worst huh? Lol yeah I'm sure we're worse than the Floyd and Pac armies.

The problem here is you act like a ****, as usual, when spelling out your personal opinions.

No i did ask you about how PEDs affects punch resistance. I doubt it makes much difference but i think it would help the ability to recover absolutely. Hopkins has always had a great chin and great recovery skills and the know-how to stay out of danger after being hurt.

The Jones fight was after the calzaghe fight. And so was the ornelas fight. Hopkins did not look good in either fight.

Hopkins is versatile. Adjusts his strategy depending on his opponent. He knows that pressing pascal would tire pascal and take away some of his power. Also the fight was in pascals hometown so judges wouldnt favour him.

You mentioned the press ups. That was mind games from hopkins and bernard said after the fight his arms hurt for the proceeding round and he will not do that again.

Hopkins was visibly tired in the last round of the second pascal fight and got hurt largely as a result of this.

          Me :
i have reason to believe that hopkins is su****ious, but i don't really care to debate it over and over again.
          Natas :
i don't care, i'm going to do everything i can to get you to debate it by dissecting every sentence of your post and, if unsuccessful, i'll resort to namecalling if i have to to get a response!
          jas :
          yeah, me too!

Didn't look bad but definitely showed he was well passed his best, IMO.

Bringer, you adopt a patronising disposition maybe partly because you are a mod. You have been severely schooled on this topic. Your arguments are weak . Learn boxing and get some boxing knowledge so you can debate boxing.

Which Hopkins fans are you referring to?

I cant say i have debated boxing with you because all you do is parade around the forum threatening to ban posters and try to be patronising.

And here is Bringer, playing the role of the ****. Try to talk to him rationally, not worth it.

You can't mention it aloud, though. His legion of ballswingers will immediately bury your criticisms beneath a thousand cries of "but he old, doe!" or just accuse you of being a jealous hater even if, like me, you were supporting him long before these bandwagon mofos even heard of this place.

Exactly. And he's looked past his best ever since (actually the decline started before Taylor). If Hopkins was throwing 800 punches a fight, knocking guys out left and right, and lightening fast then that'd be suspect. But the opposite is true - he hasn't scored a KO in a decade, he's slower, throws lesd punches, no combos, etc. Boxing, once again is about styles. He'll look good against guys he can control -Pavlik, Shumemov, etc. Guys he can't, like Chad Dawson, his age really shows. Dude is beating guys on ring IQ at this point.
