BTW- first time i've seen Groves fight and i noticed the announcers talking about a 'different' version of his fighting style? he doesn't normally fight like that?
Pretty much the same in essence, but more willing to throw out caution and engage with the lesser caliber of fighters he'd faced up until DeGale.

gotcha
you know, after watching that fight and the Hopkins fight...as an american fight fan, the crowd energy was something to envy...great atmosphere at O2 and in Quebec
Degale won in my eyes but maybe im byist but i though he won by a couple of rounds, Groves never hurt Degale.... most of his shots that the crowd cheered didn't even land....

This.
I don't know why some people were surprised by the way he fought. Groves is only going to go forward and fight aggressively in the middle when against lesser opposition. Against Kenny Anderson he was the same guy as in this fight, being pressured and fighting off the ropes.

This will give Groves a load of confidence but Degale is going much further in his career trust me......
